Shree Gurudeva Public Charitable Trust (R.)

Odiyoor Shree Gurudeva Private Industrial Training Institute is sponsored and managed by Shree Gurudeva Public Charitable Trust (R), Shree Gurudevadatta Samstanam Odiyoor under the chairmanship of H. H. Shree Shree Gurudevanada Swamiji.

The Trust also runs a Shree Gurudeva Kannada Medium High School since 2001, Shree Gurudeva English Medium High School since 2010 and Shree Gurudeva Kannada medium primary school since 2006.The Trust also established Gurudeva Gurukula with the view to provide Gurukula education to children in accordance with ancient Indian tradition of giving integrated education to students. More than 370 boys and girls are studying in these institutions.

Shree Shree Gurudevanada Swamiji’s vision and wish that Odiyoor should have a full-fledged technical training institute offering good technical education to the residents of Kanyana & neighbouring villages. His experience in the field of Education, spiritual social & cultural is the basic pillars of this project.

All these aspects inspired him and he has planned to start Odiyoor Shree Gurudeva ITI under the trust from this year onwards. Further, apart from rendering education, the trust in future proposes to offer hostel facility, Hanumagiri Arogyadhama, Adhtatma bhavana and shree gurudeva group houses etc for the benefit of the rural youth.

About ITI

It is an institution with distinctive academic profile blending itself in commitment to rural ethos and modern spirit is preparing the rural youth for the modern challenges of today. It's a giant step towards empowering rural youth by training them with job oriented trades and to attract more and more rural and deprived students to the institution and make them self reliant and employable in modern industrial field.

The Institute is situated at Kanyana near to Kerala boarder and 12 kms from Vittal. It is housed in a beautiful campus with spacious classrooms, well equipped laboratories and workshops. There are highly qualified, experienced and dedicated staffs.

The main Objectives of the institute are:

• To impart and promote technical education keeping in view the modern technology needs of young and ambitious youth.
• To provide Educational and training programs which are compatible with international development ensuring global competitiveness.
• To provide necessary knowledge, knowhow and skill to youth to start small scale industrial units of their own at their own villages.
